How do I set up service with GreenLight Collaboration?

BILLING

What are my payment options?

Credit card (Visa, MC, American Express), check or wire transfer.

When does GreenLight Collaboration invoice customer?

We bill our customers on a monthly basis. We invoice the first week of the month for the previous month, terms net 30.

Does GreenLight Collaboration charge any additional fees, surcharges, or taxes?

Yes. GreenLight passes through to all customers the FCC’s Universal Service Fund (USF) surcharge. As of April 1st, 2010 the USF surcharge is 15.3%. This fee is subject to change on a quarterly basis and is applied ONLY to conference call bridging service and US toll free transport.

I’m a tax exempt organization; do I have to pay the USF?

Yes. The FCC’s USF is not a tax but a surcharge that is required of all conference service users.

Can GreenLight help me track cost centers or billing codes?

Yes. GreenLight can track billing details on a per account and per meeting basis.

AUDIO CONFERENCING

How many people can be on my conference call?

On a standard basis GreenLight Audio accommodates up to 50 participants per call. Please contact us if more capacity is needed.

I need an account, what do I do?

Call customer support at 800-839-9416.

If I don’t use my account for a period of time, will it be shut down or charged?

We only charge for what you use. If you go months without using your service you will not see an invoice. We only disable accounts when requested by the customer.

Do I need to make a reservation before using my account?

No, all standard audio accounts are available 24/7. Just distribute the dial in numbers, PIN’s, date and time of the call to your participants.

What features are available to me as the host of a conference call?

Hosts can mute lines, record, dial out, sub-conference and manage the call in a number of other ways. For quick reference, download the Moderator Control Guide.

What if I forget my PIN?

Please contact your organization's conferencing administrator.

How do international participants connect to my conference call?

GreenLight offers International Toll Free Service for many countries. International callers can also connect via the US toll number. GreenLight also offers operator assisted dial out to all international locations.

What should I do if there is noise, echo or music in my conference?

Keep everyone connected to the conference and press *0 to signal an operator for help.

WEB CONFERENCING

Can a GreenLight web account be shared between multiple users?

Yes. While a GreenLight web account can only be used for one meeting at a time an account can be shared among multiple users.

When do I use content upload instead of screen sharing?

Content upload to your My Library is recommended for PPT, JPG images, FLV video, and MP3 audio files. All other material, such as PDFs, spreadsheets and documents should be presented via screen sharing.

What are the minimum system requirements?

For Meeting Participants

  • Windows 7, XP, 2000, Vista, MacOS X, Linux and Unix
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or above, Firefox 1.0 or above, Safari 1.0 or above
  • Macromedia Flash 9.0 or above
  • 56kbps Internet connection minimum. Broadband Internet connection is recommended

For Meeting Moderators or Presenters

Is GreenLight Web compatible with MAC or Linux users?

Yes, MAC and Linux users love our flash based service. They can both participant in and lead a meeting.
